At University Centre Somerset, our Sport and Public Services programmes offer students the unique opportunity to gain real-world experience through our long-standing relationships with elite clubs and organisations. We believe in providing our students with practical, hands-on learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom.
Across our campuses, we have a range of facilities including a floodlit 3G FIFA-approved artificial pitch, five football pitches, a rugby pitch, sports halls, gyms, sports rehabilitation rooms and a studio cycling facility. We also host a stunning 9-hole golf course in the beautiful Cannington countryside and an Outdoor Activity Centre.
Sports students at University Centre Somerset also have access to our dedicated sports science lab equipped with cutting-edge physiology and biomechanics equipment. This facility allows you to delve into the scientific aspects of sports performance and gain a deeper understanding of the human body's response to physical activity. Alongside this, our sports halls and outdoor spaces provide the perfect environment for coaching and practising various sports and activities.
