On Wednesday 6 June, UCS and BTC Creative Arts students displayed their creations in a celebration of all their hard work this year!
Students exhibited their pieces to over 300 visitors just at their exhibition launch evening with many others attending on the days following. Visitors were treated to spooky prosthetics, fascinating media makeup, unique wigs, captivating photography, distinctive fashion, eye-catching graphic design, innovative installations, superb music production, fantastic fine art, and striking sculptures and ceramics.
During the launch event, a series of student awards were announced.
"As a course, we are extremely lucky to have such wonderful students- it makes choosing students of the year very difficult for us!"
Winning a certificate for Students of the Year (second year) and a bunch of beautiful flowers, two winners were announced; Congratulations Natasha and Chantelle.
For third year students who will be graduating this year, three awards were given out. Congratulations to Ray for being awarded Student of the Course, and Cami for being awarded Student of the Year.
Finally, Ellie was this year’s winner of the KM Effects award, chosen by Krystian Mallet, known for work on television and film including Harry Potter, Les Misérables, Aquaman, and many more! Ellie has additionally been offered an interview at KM Effects since the award was announced.
