Construction Management for England HNC Level 4

Course Overview

This course equips you with a nationally recognised professional qualification that enhances your workplace skills and helps prepare you to advance your career in the construction industry. The course can be studied part-time or as part of an Apprenticeship. The Higher Nationals and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) consist of eight units, covering key knowledge and practical skills for the sector.

Units may include:

  • Construction Design Project
  • The Construction Environment
  • Construction Technology
  • Legal and Statutory Requirements in Construction
  • Digital Applications for construction Information.

This course is a recognised Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ). HTQs have been specifically developed with employers so that students will get the training, knowledge and skills they are looking for, unlocking high-skilled and highly paid jobs.

Assessment Methods

Assessment is a mix of assignments, presentations and project work for each of the eight units.

Entry Requirements and Progression

Progression

There are a huge range of career choices within the construction professions, such as site manager, quantity surveyor, or civil engineering technician, so successful completion of the HNC really does open doors. In addition, you could go on to study at HND or degree level.

Entry Requirements

Typically entrants will possess at least one of the following:

  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
  • GSCEs at grade 4 and above, including English and maths.

Fees

The course fee is £3900.00* per year of study.
